JIT Access

 

JIT Access enables user impersonation in a secure, customer-approved, time-bound, auto-expiring, and fully logged manner.

 

 

 

How Does It Work?

 

* The agent triggers the Login as User action.
* The system automatically creates a JIT access request.
* An approval email is sent to the customer user who owns the account (approver).
* The link in the email:

 

  * Redirects the approver to the Pisano platform
  * Is valid for 15 minutes

### Approval / Rejection Flow

 

When the approver clicks the link, they can view:

 

* The user who created the request
* The user for whom access is requested
* The requested access duration

 

The request can then be **approved or rejected**.

### What Happens If the Request Is Approved?

 

* The request status is set to Approved.
* A notification email is sent to the requesting user.
* When the user starts the session via the link in the email:

 

  * The **impersonation session begins
  * The access duration runs for 15 minutes

### Note

 

If the request is approved but the user does not start the session, the link is automatically expired by a scheduled worker at the end of the day.
This flow applies to Uber Admin and  Admin roles
