When Does Feedback Reflect onto Reports?
Reliable data is the foundation of effective decision-making. This article clarifies the synchronization process between incoming messages and your analytical dashboards.
What You Will Find Here
Who Can Access?
All users can access these features. There are no role-based restrictions for viewing report synchronization.
How to Access
-
Select the Reports option from the main sidebar.
-
Click on a specific dashboard.
What You Can Do Here
Real-Time Feedback Monitoring (Inbox)
This allows you to see individual feedback entries as they arrive. It is useful for immediate triage or direct customer communication.
-
Go to the sidebar or main dashboard.
-
Click on the Inbox section.
-
Review the list of incoming feedback entries.
Result: New feedback entries appear in the Inbox immediately. You can now respond to customers or assign the feedback to a team member.
Notes / Tips / Warnings
-
The Inbox shows individual data points for instant action.
-
The Reports section is for long-term analysis rather than immediate response.
Aggregated Data Refresh (Reports)
This updates your visual charts and high-level performance metrics. The system processes and validates raw data before it appears in this view.
-
Click on the Reports section in the main dashboard or sidebar.
-
Click on any report you want to monitor.
-
Wait for the background processing cycle to finish. This usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
-
Refresh your browser window or the dashboard view to see the latest data.
Result: The system indexes the raw feedback data. The visual charts and tables then display the updated metrics.
Notes / Tips / Warnings
-
The 15 to 20 minute delay is a programmed safeguard.
-
This delay allows the system to cross-reference data points for precise reporting.
Limits and Notes
The reporting engine performs validation tasks to maintain data integrity. These calculations ensure that all visual trends are accurate.
During periods of high feedback volume, the synchronization process may take the full 20 minutes to maintain system stability.
FAQs
I received feedback in my Inbox, so why is it missing from my Report charts? This is the expected behavior of the system. The Inbox displays data in real time. The Reports dashboard requires 15 to 20 minutes to complete a background synchronization and validation process.
Can I force a real-time update on the Reports page? The data processing cycle is an automated system process. This logic maintains performance stability for all users. You cannot bypass the 15 to 20 minute refresh cycle manually.
Does this delay change the timestamp of the feedback? No. The system records the original time the user submitted the feedback. The report will reflect the correct submission time even if it appears in the chart later.
