In our cloud-based customers, the use of this service is mandatory and will automatically come into play for sending via the SMS channel. It cannot be configured with a different service. It can only be customized through the Pisano interface by a user with Uber Admin privileges as follows:
Short Link Customization:
All links start by default as https://psn.vc/ . Within the account definition, Customer Domain Prefix can be defined: such as xxxx.psn.vc or abc.psn.vc, in this case, an example link would be formed as follows: https://Customer_Domain_Prefix.psn.vc/czmx32vldv
In on-premises usage, it is expected that the customer's link shortening service is configured or the Pisano service is used. This configuration will be done by technical teams during the setup phase. It will automatically come into play for sending via the SMS channel.
If surveys are to be sent via SMS and/or Push Notifications, the Link Shortening Service must be used
How to Use Pisano Link Shortening Service for Other Channels?
Pisano's provided link shortening service does not offer an interface other than the HTTP API. Therefore, it cannot be used with tools like web browsers.
- To call the link shortening service, a POST request should be sent to the https://psn.vc/shorten address with the following parameters and headers.
