Lock a Dashboard Filter

You can lock a dashboard filter to ensure that specific filter values remain applied.

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Locate the filter you want to lock.
3. Click the Lock icon next to the filter.
4. Select the values that should remain locked.
5. Save the dashboard.

Result

The selected filter values remain fixed for users viewing the dashboard.

Update Locked Filter Values

You can modify the values assigned to an existing locked filter.

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Select the locked filter.
3. Update the selected values.
4. Save the dashboard.

Result

The dashboard uses the updated locked filter values.

Review Locked Filters

Locked filters are displayed with a lock indicator, allowing dashboard owners to identify which filters have restricted values.
