Objective Key Results and Key Performance Indicators

Objective Key Results (OKR) is a goal-setting framework for defining and tracking objectives and their outcomes in a given period. A measurable key result is determined for each subject, which indicates where the performance is according to the goals. [[Key performance indicator]]s (KPIs) are the sub-goals we will follow in order to achieve these main goals. For example, let's imagine going on 12 hours car trip, the GPS is an OKR since it shows the way and helps to reach the target, while the [[information]] on the front panel, which shows how much gasoline remains, how fast the speed is and which is constantly monitored, are representing KPIs.
